  Advantum Hosts First Annual TechConnect Week

OpenWave Information Security partnered with Advantum at TechConnect to showcase local and international experts in the field of Tech.

Advantum (formerly Port Computer Services), is a subsidiary of the Shipping Association of Jamaica (SAJ), hosted their first annual TechConnect, November 13-15, 2013 at the SAJ.

The event was themed 'Securing the Logistics Chain: People, Equipment, Technology', and includes presentations and discussions on securing key aspects of the logistics chain while highlighting the need to view security from a holistic perspective.

  JIS: Residents Welcome Internet Café in Treadways, St. Catherine

OpenWave Information Security donated a multipurpose printer to the computer room of The Treadways internet café project. Other equipment was donated by separate sponsors, which community members were very grateful. The café, which is intended to benefit residents of Treadways and neighbouring communities, is located on the grounds of the Treadways Gospel Assembly.
